Helen has worked with children and families within child protection and prevention from 1989 to date.  

 

Helen started working at Congleton Family Centre in a social care setting in 1989, this work encouraged Helen to develop a range of skills to enhance her own and others learning, supporting change for children.

 

Helen moved to NSPCC in 2002 where she managed a team working in the local community, she has an extensive range of skills working in preventative services relating to neglect and emotional abuse.  

 

Helen has extensive management, assessment and reflective supervision skills.  Helen has her own Play Therapy service and offers Clinical Supervision to trainees and experienced practitioners.  

 

Helen has co facilitated training events and workshops.  Helen is a member of BAPT, PTUK, HCPC
